Dear student/parent/customer,
I hope this newsletter finds you all well. In this edition: Happy New Academic Year!; GCSE & A Level Results; mathsisfun.com; Recommended Calculators.
Happy New Academic Year!
Some of you will have already started and some are still waiting (with bated breath) to return, I hope all are looking forward to your return and that yours is full of success.
Most of my current students have confirmed their sessions for the Autumn term. If you haven't already done so, then please message to confirm or cancel. Your usual place will be held until the end of September '22 when it will be opened to other students.
2022 GCSE & A Level Results
Many of the students from 2021/2 have shared their results. So far, these have been very positive with as expected or even higher than expected outcomes. If you've not yet shared your results, then please message with details.
mathsisfun.com
The educational website www.mathsisfun.com is full of useful material for maths and physics. This site is not tied to a specific syllabus but is a source of wide ranging scientific ideas: covering from the very basic through to the fundamental; from the simple to the complex. This site is one of many that can be found on maths and physics that are useful for GCSE and A level study.
Recommended Calculators
Currently the most useful calculator on offer is the Casio fx-991 EX CLASSWIZ. This calculator will cover most students needs for I/GCSE, A level and beyond. Do you know of a good calculator?
Please message with any questions raised due to issues from this newsletter or any other issues you may have. If you do not wish to continue to receive these newsletters, then please message with your request.
All the best,
Michael.
