COVID-19 Statement - Dated 3rd January 2022.
Dear Students/Parents/Customers,
Currently most tuition is conducted on-line, and this remains the preferred method of tuition for the foreseeable future. Tuition will remain available on-line to those who wish it to stay on-line, ad hoc to those who would like to move to face-to-face, and in situations where one or another cannot answer "no" to all the questions below.
- Face-to-face tuition will only go ahead if all concerned answer "no" to these questions:
- Is anyone within the household classified as clinically extremely vulnerable?
- Are you self-isolating?
- Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?
- Do you have a high temperature?
- Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste?
Testing:
I will only come to a face-to-face session if, I have, that morning given a negative rapid lateral flow test.
If positive, then parents and student will be notified and an online alternative will be offered. It might also be an idea for the student have been tested negative too.
Again, if the student is positive, then an online line session will be offered.
Once we have agreed that a face-to-face session can go ahead then the following will apply:
- On arrival and at departure, if it is the preference of the customer, I may be wearing a facemask;
- the tuition location should be in a well-ventilated area where the student and I can be at least one metre apart;
- there will be no sharing of equipment throughout the session including textbooks, pens, completed prep, etc.
Otherwise, sessions will go ahead as normal.

COVID-19 Statement - Dated 9th August 2021.
Dear Students/Parents/Customers,
Currently most tuition is conducted on-line, and this remains my preferred method of tuition for the foreseeable future. However, from 1st September 2021 I will offer face-to-face tuition to all that are local to my base of operations.
From March 2020 all tuition has been conducted via on-line means (Skype or Zoom). Over the last month face-to-face trials have been carried out with a small group of students individually. These have gone well, and I would like to offer face-to-face to students and parents who would prefer this method of delivery and who are locate close to my base of operations. Tuition will remain available on-line to those who wish it to stay on-line, ad hoc to those who would like to move to face-to-face, and in situations where one or other cannot answer "no" to all the questions below.

COVID-19 Statement Dated - 7th December 2020.
Dear Students/Parents/Customers,
Further my statement on COVID-19 of 13th August 2020, we have now, since March 2020, been conducting all tuition solely online, initially via Skype and now with Zoom too.
Even with the announcement this week of an approved vaccine, this is likely to continue into the medium term.
Government guidance is still to conduct all business from home where possible.
I do not expect to return to visiting students in their homes until September 2021.
As and when we return to the possibility of face-to-face tuition I will work with each family to determine firstly if face-to-face is how they wish to proceed and secondly if face-to-face is possible.

COVID-19 Statement Dated - 13th August 2020.
Dear Students/Parents/Customers,
Further my statement on COVID-19 of 5th April 2020, we are still carrying out all sessions on-line and I am not tutoring face-to-face.
Most students are now being tutored on-line and this is likely to continue until 30th September 2020. Depending on
government, IOP
and TA advice I plan to offer face-to-face session from 1st October 2020. Exactly how we do this will be laid out in detail before the return.
Please be aware if you wish to continue with online tutoring I will happily continue. A further update will be made around the 30th September 2020.
